Privacy Policy

Satoplast International Ltd ("Satoplast", "we", "us", "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting any personal data we hold about you. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and the choices and rights available to you.

This policy applies to visitors to our website, to individuals and companies who contact us or request a quotation, and to operatives and site personnel whose image or footage we may capture and use in accordance with our media consent process.

Satoplast International Ltd is a Principal Contractor and Contractor registered in England & Wales, company number 10462643, with its registered office at 2a Middlebrook Farm Industrial, Hoe Lane, Nazeing, EN9 2RJ. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy, registered with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) under registration reference ZB072460.

We may collect and process the following categories of personal data:

• Enquiry details you submit through our contact form or by email or phone, such as your name, company, email address, phone number, the service you require and the content of your message.
• Business and project information shared with us by clients, subcontractors and partners in the course of tendering, delivering and managing projects.
• Site imagery — photographs and video footage taken on our sites and in our factory, which may include identifiable operatives who have provided consent under our media consent and release process.
• Technical information such as browser type, device information and general usage data, which may be collected automatically when you visit our website.

We use personal data for purposes including:

• Responding to enquiries and quotation requests submitted through this website.
• Managing and delivering carpentry, factory, cladding and Principal Contractor projects.
• Maintaining relationships with clients, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Publishing site photography and footage on our website and marketing materials, where consent has been obtained.
• Meeting our legal, regulatory, health and safety obligations.
• Improving our website and understanding how it is used.

Where photography or video footage is published under a signed media consent and release form, that consent does not waive or limit any rights or remedies arising from any unlawful, defamatory, misleading or materially altered use of the images, or from any use that falls outside the purposes expressly authorised in that form. Any editing of photographs or footage is limited to reasonable technical or editorial adjustments, and will not materially alter the context, appearance or meaning of the material, or portray the individual in a misleading, defamatory or derogatory manner. For the avoidance of doubt, this does not restrict our normal use of photography for legitimate marketing purposes — it simply ensures that consent relates to the authorised use of the material and does not operate as a general waiver of the individual's legal rights.

We rely on the following legal bases under UK GDPR: your consent (for example, when you submit our contact form, or where an operative has signed a media consent form); the performance of a contract with you or your employer; our legitimate interests in operating and promoting our business; and compliance with a legal obligation, such as health and safety record-keeping.

We do not sell personal data. We may share information with subcontractors, professional advisers, regulatory bodies, and service providers who support our business operations (for example, hosting, IT support or form-handling services), only where necessary and under appropriate confidentiality arrangements.

We retain personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this policy, including any legal, accounting or reporting requirements. Enquiry details are retained for as long as needed to respond and to maintain a record of the relationship; signed media consent forms are retained for as long as the associated material remains in use, and for a reasonable period afterwards.

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to request access to, correction of, or erasure of your personal data; to object to or restrict certain processing; to request data portability; and to withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the details below.

We don't use any analytics, advertising or tracking cookies on this website, and we don't run any third-party analytics scripts. The website does rely on two third-party services to function:

• Google Fonts — the typefaces used on this site are loaded from Google's servers, which means your device contacts Google directly to retrieve them, and your IP address is processed by Google as part of that request, in accordance with Google's own privacy policy (opens in a new tab).
• Form processing — when you submit our contact form, the details you enter are processed by our website hosting provider in order to deliver your enquiry to us; they are not used for any other purpose.

Because we don't use non-essential cookies, we don't currently display a cookie consent banner. If that changes — for example, if we introduce analytics in future — we'll update this section and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent first. You can still control cookies and similar technologies at any time through your browser settings.

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss or misuse. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect information under our control.

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.

If you have any questions about this policy or how we handle your personal data, please contact us at info@satoplastinternational.co.uk or 020 8801 3303.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal data, you have the right to complain to the UK's independent supervisory authority for data protection, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), at ico.org.uk (opens in a new tab) or by calling 0303 123 1113. We would, however, appreciate the chance to address your concerns directly before you approach the ICO.
